Pocahontas, "Motoaka, Lady Rebecca Rolfe". - Early 1600s A.D. Virginia, E.E.U.U.

The real Pocahontas was about 11 years old when John Smith arrived in Virginia in 1607. In her tribe, she would have been considered women from age 13. She would have used skin tied around his waist and a pair of deer necklaces made with white shells around his neck. The Powhatan women rarely chest outrigger. In winter, it could have used a leather coat around her shoulders for warmth. Of unmarried women Powhatan wore their hair in a long braid, while married should cut it after marriage. The women of higher status, as Pocahontas, had their faces tattooed with abstract patterns, made with natural products bodies.
